Reincarnation and Past Lives - Strong Feelings Indicate Past Life Circumstances

October 17th, 2008

In our society it’s considered inappropriate to vocalize your opinion to a stranger on topics such as politics, religion, sex, money, racial issues, and abortion, just to name a few.

Everyone has an opinion, and some become very emotional, even angry if you don’t agree with theirs. Their strong beliefs are sometimes linked to their childhood or other miscellaneous defining moments in their lives.

But let’s not forget about the impact of past lives. If you want to find the cause of something in your life, whether it be your fondness for a certain nation or group of people, or your fear of flying or snakes, it can almost always be traced back to past lives.

Side note: As we’ve frequently said, it doesn’t matter if reincarnation exists or not. What is important is that exploring one’s past lives can be very healing, even if it turns out that the perceptions may be metaphorical, linked to your subconscious mind.

Do you know someone who spends a lot of their time campaigning for a cause or political candidate? They may simply believe strongly in the purpose and truly want to help others, but there could be other reasons too. For a person who is consumed by anger against the opposition, our findings indicate that a strong past life link is often likely: whoever is screaming the loudest (anti-whatever) could easily have been on the other side in a past life. Perhaps their actions in a past life as an 1800s shipping tycoon, for example, were often very dishonest, racist, unfair, and selfish. Consciously they don’t remember this, of course, but subconsciously it triggers a response. Guess why they’re spending so much energy on the cause now? Answer: they project their former nefarious self (or selves) onto others who may or may not (often times not) be creating the negative karma that they did in the past. Until they get to know themselves better (spiritually speaking) and recognize their projections for what they are, they’ll continue exclusively seeing the world as they are or were (instead of how it really is), spinning around like a dog chasing its tail.

How about a certain internationally famous pop star who, in the 1980s and 1990s, caused a lot of controversy through her sexual and (some would say) anti-religious images and lyrics? Is it possible that she lived one or more lives as a powerful religious figure who, by his or her actions, caused the populations of entire countries to be more shameful and fearful about sex? Absolutely. Could this pop star have been destined to attempt to reverse some of that through her (legal and mostly harmless) provocative and sexual public image and behavior in this life, and be ridiculed repeatedly in the press as a result? Yes.

Do you know someone who despises the wealthy? Do they insist that most rich people are greedy, mean, and had to be ruthless and cheat others to gain their wealth? Guess who very possibly acted in such a way in a previous life and created negative karma for themselves? Even if someone does obtain wealth unfairly by hurting others, try not to let it bother you too much. Have compassion for them and know that they will ultimately have to pay for it in other ways, even if it is not until a future life.

It’s important to note that your karmic circumstances in life are not about reward or punishment, but learning and growth. For example, being born rich or poor, straight or gay, black, white, brown, or red, attractive or not, fit or not, is not simply because you were “good” or “bad” in past lives.

However, if you are forced to deal with steep and stressful challenges in this life related to your family, s.exual orientation, race, appearance or something else you cannot change, it’s possible your soul choose them for you to experience the other side of things. Or, sometimes it may be that your soul volunteered to be an example in some way for those around you, ultimately to help progress human understanding and compassion, for instance. You may or may not have been, for example, a rich, straight, handsome womanizer who used and abused females in a past life (and may or may not have already balanced the energy in successive past lives). Even if you were, everyone has been “good” and “bad” in past lives, so go easy on yourself; it’s much more important to focus on doing the right thing now in all situations than to feel guilty about how you were in past lives.

If you would like to overcome or at least be better able to deal with burdensome personal issues, past life regression can shed new light on the situation, help you to detach from it, and in some cases overcome it. If you just want to explore past lives out of curiosity, going back in time can be an eye-opening experience and help you realize the deeper reasons for why you are who you are and how you knew the people in your life.

The Process of Awakening…Please feel free to comment!

October 6th, 2008

Awakening is the process where self deceptions are revealed so truth can reside fully. Awakening is the process wherein the Divine Mother consciousness in each and every man and women wakes up from a deep sleep and remembers to have union back with the Father, the source that created everything. Awakening is when the body and mind is cleaned up so we can start embracing the love present within us.

The process of awakening is not easy. It is a process that shakes up all your limiting beliefs. The realization of being wrong about your core beliefs requires great humility. If you can yearn for truth more than a pretty illusion, this awakening process will take you to the heights of its glory. Along the way we’ll be asked to drop our concepts about the world, spirituality, religion and finally our concepts about God. This is done so you can finally empty your cup for truth to be revealed. Your truth may be very different from another since we are all in different stages in our realization.

The process of awakening can cause a deep sadness and depression as untruth is revealed. All the past unresolved hurt, this lifetime and others, gets to be seen in the compassion of your heart and grieved. It gets to be held by the Divine Mother awakening within you. All instances of competitiveness, greed, rage, arrogance, jealousy, pride and all forms of egoistical actions get to be seen in the light of truth. The compassion of the Divine Mother within can heal all parts of us that is broken. We will be led to spiritual teachers and healers to heal the broken parts within. We may resist the teachers and healers due to our inherent lack of trust in goodness, however, trust in the Divine Mother within to know how to heal us. The ego or the limiting beliefs get to surrender to this wisdom awakening within us. This is when the unconscious mind with all its fears and self sabotaging thoughts get to rest knowing truth is in charge.

Every one on earth will go through this process of awakening. The current lifetime is a great one for all masters to remember who they are inorder to ascend. Be open to your soul leading your path. Remove all beliefs on who can teach you. Be open to learning from many teachers. Releasing suffering and pain is very fast when you are open to being teachable by anyone God chooses to teach you. Your Divine Mother knows the way and you can delay your teaching and get stuck if you have a resistance to a teacher or teaching.

It is deep cleanup time of earth right now. The lack of integrity in our leaders, stock market and banking systems is an outward reflection of the same cleanup occurring within. Do not procrastinate doing your self work or it is easy to get stuck in delusion and suffering. The cleanup time right now has the potential for your body to manifest illness if you are in denial with what your soul knows to be true. If you feel you are not competitive or arrogant and your soul knows otherwise, you can turn it inwards and hurt your body.

Have the courage to break your comfort zone and take a leap into the unknown. Attend as many spiritual programs by many teachers and allow yourself to remember. You will learn discernment and start the process of trust only if you stretch yourself out of your comfort zone. In every teaching, take what is true for you and reject the rest. Only through walking through your fears can the process of awakening shift you to a higher place. Take a leap of faith and take action. The time is now.

Your Purpose by Swami Ramdas

October 6th, 2008

Peace and Joy being your inherent possession, why
go out of yourself in pursuit of them? Being the
light yourself, why do you grope in darkness
longing for an outer changing ray, why deny your
own everlasting radiance? Know that you are the
Soul of the very universe, the eternal light,
peace and joy. Realize your light and illuminate
all. Realize your peace and shower tranquility on
all. Say “I am the all-blissful Spirit” and shed
joy on all. Assert your Divine nature and
liberate thousands and millions from the fetters
of bondage. Be God and lead others to God.

Love all and hate none. Mere talk of peace will
avail you nothing. Mere talk of God and religion
will not take you far. Bring out all the latent
powers of your being and reveal the full
magnificence of your immortal Self. Be surcharged
with peace and joy and scatter them wherever you
are and wherever you go. Be a blazing flame of
Truth, be a beauteous blossom of love and be a
soothing balm of peace. By the power of your
Spirit dispel the darkness of ignorance, dissolve
the clouds of discord and war and bring goodwill,
peace and harmony amongst the people of the
globe. This is your mission in life.

Live not for passing fantasies of life. Bid for
immortality by dedicating all the forces of it to
the service of God in humanity. Away with petty
ambitions. Away with a low and narrow vision of
life. Arise in all the glory and majesty of your
invincible Self. Be pure, selfless, patient and
resigned, never allow the ego to raise its hood
and drag you after it; but be full of power,
grace and splendor of God, verily you are God.

This is what true religion should make of a human
being, all else is vanity and vexation.

How We Incarnate! A different perspective

October 2nd, 2008

The memory of the past unfulfilled desires traps energy, which manifests itself as a person. When its charge gets exhausted, the person dies. Unfulfilled desires are carried over into the next birth. I do not say that the same person is reborn. It dies and dies for good. But its memories remain and their desires and fears. They supply the energy for a new person. The real takes no part in it, but makes it possible by giving it the light.

Sacred Relationships (Please feel free to comment)

September 4th, 2008

Our most intimate experience of self is often that of what we need, wish for, or want, and so it is natural for us to imagine and hope for what we desire in another. Sometimes this wishing comes from our better self - the part that knows what we truly need and has higher aspirations for ourselves and others. But sometimes we wish for less than what is good for us, and more of what is comfortable or reassuring for us in the moment.

This dilemma of ‘need’ and ‘want’ often gets projected onto relationships in which we want the ‘other’ to be who we want them to be or need them to be, rather than who they are. When tendencies are strong in this direction, we no longer see another as who they truly are. Rather, we see them through the prism of our own fears and projections. This creates a great burden for relationships, since mutual projections of one onto the other prevent the natural expression and evolution of intimacy and shared growth. They bring the relationship into a more perilous place of trying to satisfy the immediate needs of each person - needs that are not fully disclosed. Such relationships may be considered ‘karmic relationships’ rather than sacred relationships, (if we are speaking of the consciousness in which they are held, rather than the innate sacredness of every relationship), for they are based on the unconscious needs and fears of each participant, often carried from lifetime to lifetime and projected into each new situation.

Sacred relationships are very different, for they are based on the interaction of two souls with one another who aspire to, and are beginning to have the capacity to share life with each other from the standpoint of the soul.

This soul-perspective is available to each of us, for it is who we are at the most fundamental level. Our soul rejoices in the individuality and uniqueness of each blade of grass, each ray of light, and each individual being. Our soul-self does not need another to restore comfort to us since it is embedded in, and embraced by, the fullness of God’s love. This is why, at the level of the soul, we are able to be with others in a freer way, and to set others free to be themselves.

To move to this level of the sacred in our relationships with others is difficult for many because it requires a letting go by the ego - a letting go that cannot be an act of thought or of will, but that is made possible by an anchoring in our relationship with the Divine. Such anchoring, which brings to us an inner source of nourishment rather than an outer, does not mean that we no longer need relationships, but rather that we may seek them for different reasons.

Instead of using relationships to cover our own emptiness or to mask our fear, we can cherish them for the expansion they bring to our hearts and souls and for the richness of life they make possible. Relationships offer an opportunity for sharing love in a very deep way, not only for each other, but for God.

When the heart has become free enough of ego-influences (need-desire-want-fear) to do this, relationships can truly become sacred. For a central aspect of a sacred relationship is the integrity and wholeness that each participant brings to it, and the fundamental root of such wholeness is one’s experience as a soul - a part of the Oneness of all that is.

The heart that is free can set others free. The heart that longs for the sacred can begin within each particular relationship to create a sacred life. This is the path to the future, and it is built, step by step, out of love.

Julie Redstone is a teacher, writer, and founder of Light Omega, a center for spiritual teaching and healing in Western Massachusetts. The purpose of Light Omega is to create an understanding of the sacred transition into light that the Earth is presently going through and the changes this will bring to individual and planetary consciousness. What Is Spiritual Response Therapy

August 26th, 2008

Spiritual Response Therapy is an ancient form of energetic healing which operates at the soul level. Many ailments we suffer have their energies rooted in past life discordant issues (95% +). Those ailments (mental, emotional and physical) are part of our cellular memory and re-manifest lifetime after lifetime.

Not only does a soul have it’s own past-life issues to contend with, it has the issues of both parents eight generations back. This is inherited through their cellular memory. Actually, the soul chooses it’s parents based on the tendencies and the proclivity to experience certain challenges while in the body. The parents, at the soul level, agree or contract (out of love) with the child (soul) to provide those experiences as best as possible prior to the soul actually incarnating.

So, the incarnating soul lives the incarnation (life) it has chosen. Obviously, many souls have chosen some very challenging life experiences. Just look around, how many people do you see living a life of joy and harmony? When you hear spiritual teachers say that everything is in perfect order, this is what they are referring to.

I think it was Shakespeare who said that we are all just actors on a stage. Each of us seems to be acting out the role which we wrote to learn and grow spiritually. Does this mean that all of our actions are engraved in stone? Obviously not! Through Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) we can change the severity of our lessons to something which is, at least, manageable and sometimes the soul can be educated on the lesson to the point that there is no discernible physical, mental, or emotional discord to experience.

The process of SRT is one of connecting to our Higher Self Spiritual Committee (a form of walking meditation) and asking a series of questions which identifies patterns or programs of discordant energy which have imprinted in the Akashic Record (your soul’s record of lifetimes) covering literally thousands of lifetimes. Once these programs and energies are identified, we ask that they be cleared. When that is done the soul has been educated to the lessons it should have learned and positive energies replace the old. This change or shift is done in collaboration between both the practitioner’s Higher Self Committee and the client’s H.S. Committee.

The process of clearing the client’s Akashic Record (soul’s memory) is the beginning of true healing. In many cases, spontaneous healing occurs and some cases there may be more work to do. It is then possible to effect healing of the Body, Mind and Spirit aspects through a wide variety of modalities, usually quite easily.

Ultimately, the clients are healing themselves. The practitioner is merely a “middle-man”, so to speak. The practitioner is specially trained in the process and may be Certified as a Teacher or Consultant by the Spiritual Response Association as competent to do this work. In order to be Certified, a practitioner must have demonstrated an ability to conduct the work in concert with Spirit by building a relationship with Spirit through much practice.

More information about SRT is available by signing up for our newsletter at http://srtnow.com .
